How Can I Make My Own Instrumentals For Hip Hop?

I want to make instrumentals for my music instead of copying other music artists such as the game. I need to make instrumentals like dr.dre or the game i they those are called beats?please tell me the software or the name of it and the place where i can download it from.

    ah yes, finally a question that i’m REALLY interested in!!! i’m an aspiring producer, so you wanna buy somethin like FL studio, or reason… FL is alot easier to use than Reason, but Reason is alot more powerful. if u want you can start on reason OR (if u got some cash) by cubase… cubase is alot more expensive and powerful than both, but i aint used it yet cuz i aint got it like that!

    There is a great program called ‘Rebirth’ that is a digital recreation of classic pieces of analog equipment – a roland TR-808, TR-909 (both drum machines) and a pair of TB-303’s (bass modules).
    It is easy to program beats, rhythms, bass lines, leads, etc. as loops, and then chain them together into songs.
    I also use Sonic Foundries ‘Acid’ – which lets you steal loops and samples (as well as making your own) to use for producing music for all kinds of music, but mostly for techno/trip-hop/industrial (would work fine for hip-hop too).
    Then I nearly fell out of my chair when I ran across this company called ‘arturia’ that makes several programs that emulate classic analog synths like the minimoog, modular moog, and ARP2600.
    It can be tricky to get good backing music, since there are so many different programs, and pieces of equipment. You have to find what works for you.

    If you want to make beats like Dr. Dre you need a whole studio set up with a synthesizer and what not. But a good beginning beat program is Fruity Loops, you can download it online somewhere
