    ?musical instrument are haram except for the daff – without any rings (i.e., a hand-drum which looks like a tambourine, but without any rattles) – whether it was ramadan or not but u can listen to anasheeds that do not contain any kind of music nor obscene words

    I would say only listen to quran because a lot of people think that even soft musical instruments are haram you should definitely stay away from this though if you listen to it and forget to pray or something like that especially while your fasting Allah (swt) would NOT be pleased.

    well Ramadan is for remembering Allah and I think so by listening to music you are not remembering Allah and music is haram for fasting and makrru (Means disliked by Allah for life). I hope this helps

    Music is forbidden. It is ok if you listen only the words without instrumental music.
    But that is boring.
