"1812 Overture" by Tchaikovsky is a good, upbeat one too. If you're looking for more modern stuff, maybe find some bluegrass/folk melodies. Those tend to be upbeat and have an acoustic guitarish sound to them. The music is available free for download. See the link. I like the longer pieces especially because they are very repetitive. Music that is too improvisational distracts me when I'm writing.
